Bahrain Rugby Club Astroturf completed with FIFA and IRB approval

Bahrain Rugby chose Astroplay Z 65X for their new synthetic field, which is IRB Rugby rule 22 approved, and FIFA 1 Star for soccer.
The system is a 11mm Stockmeier insitu rubber shock-pad with pu backed 65mm Astroplay turf, made in the USA with Ten Cate X-Treme monofilament yarn. It has been infilled with sand and eco-cool rubber.
It was installed by Mark (NZ), Craig (UK), Chris Buckley (Singapore), Nazir and Amo, of our ASI team.
The same ground in Bahrain hosted the Asian 5 Nations Rugby match in 2010, between Arab Gulf and Hong Kong with a crowd of over 3000. The field is also used for men's / women's soccer, AFL and Gaelic football.
